Webquest Lesson Idea
My idea for the webquest project is to introduce pop art by using the NETart example of the pac man game as a source. I think this NET art is a lot like pop art therefore, I will introduce artists and examples that will help describe and explain it.

Place Making
This is a picture of a place that means a lot to me. I took this photo for another project for a different class, however, I thought it would work perfectly for this. In this photo is a sign for the main street at Penn State. Our school is in a town called State College. I have always wanted to go to school here, but thought it was impossible. I started out at a branch campus; Penn State Altoona. After two years, I finally make it to the main campus of Penn State the one I am at now. In the past, my sister and brother have gone here and now it is my turn. So far I have gotten an awesome education as well as life lessons that I will use down the road. I also got an experience that I will never forget; it has taught me many things such as about who I am and who I want to be after college as well as to enjoy life to its fullest. Therefore, since getting into this school was a huge goal of mine and it finally happened, this picture as well as town will always hold huge meaning to me and something I will never forget.
Art Educators Web 2.0
I think these technologies are use for a variety of reasons. First, I believe people wanted to try something new other than the ordinary learning or planning in the classroom. I think trying new things is good, especially for beginning teachers. This way they can try techniques and keep what they like and throw away with the rest. Secondly, I believe it is a way to be organized with their selves as well as with others. My using these technologies they can connect and talk to each other as well as having peers see what is going on as well. This way others can get ideas and have it help with what they are doing.
This technology helps in learning and teaching in many ways. I believe it helps the relationship between the learner and the teacher. This helps it because the learner can see what the teacher has planned out as well as what other students are doing by what is posted. I also think it helps the relationship because the teacher can also look at students work all in the same place, a very good way to keep student work organized. Secondly, it helps with progression of the learners. They can see what they need to do, as well as progressing with making connections with peers.
I would use this technology in my future teaching for posting projects and instructions so the students have them and can refer to them when needed. I think this is a good way to use it because the students won't misplace any instructions. They will also have the ability to ask questions all in one place so I and others can help answer them. I would also use it to post grades. Therefore, each student would have their own page they can go to and see grades as well as feedback for their projects without having to worry what other students got. Another way I would use this technology is to be organized with my own ideas, thoughts, lessons and projects. I think this is a great way to do that for one reason; it is all in the same place. I have a hard time being organized and I believe by learning how to use this, it can help and improve my future as an educator.

Questions about Uganda
I am interested in knowing more about the art that you guys look at. What is your favorite? What do you have access too? Have you seen various type of art or are you limited? What do you like to use best such as paint, pencil, prints or anything i might not know about. I am also interested in your technology. What is available to you? I hear that the internet gets lost a lot where you guys are, is that an issue to you or is it something that you are use to? If that were to happen in the United States people would be freaking out because of the loss of communication with people. Does communication matter as much as we (United States) make it out to seem?
